Oooh! I am going to have a web meeting with all the Carina authors and some of the editors! We're gearing up for the launch!!! What? Didn't I tell you? I've just mailed off my contract for Alien Revealed, an erotic sci-fi romance novella to be part of Carina's launch! It's the first of a series of novellas about the Confederacy Treaty, the first agreement between humans and an alien race!

Attended the RWAC (Romance Writers of Atlantic Canada, a branch of Romance Writers of North America) September meeting which had been delayed due to the last tropical storm. Cathryn Fox gave a great talk on pitching - how editors are people too, and about how to sum up your novel into a few mere sentences. Great information! Thanks Cathy!

Rejection - boo hoo! NAL turned down Dark Harmony. But Kerr's letter said she thought it was well written and that it had interesting characters. SO you never know. I sent it on to Ellora's Cave.
