Countdown continues
Less than one week until I go to the Romantic Times Convention! YAY! I am so excited! This week's blog is much like the last - I am gearing up to go. :)
One thing that has occurred to me that might be a problem is the after conference blues. What if I go, and have a great time and come back to boredome? Or worse, what if I go and it isn't as fun as I've thought? What if my editor's appointments don't go well?
I guess this is like performance anxiety. My friend, author Renee Fields, has had a recent panic attack - she's to do her first signing and she is worried about whether she has enough promo material. I have no advice for her, having never done one myself. Cathryn Fox is helping her out that way. We are all wondering about clothes - although Cathy seems fixated on her shoes...Hmmm.
One final worry - how will I make it through a week without my kids??!!

Gearing up for the RT Convention!!
I can hardly believe it! It is less than two weeks now until I fly off to Florida for the Romantic Times Conference! I am so excited! While I am there I will be meeting with Raelene Gorlinsky of Ellora’s Cave, Theresa Stevens at Red Sage, and Deb Werksman at Sourcebooks. I’ll be pitching a steamy Sci-fi anthology and a spooky paranormal romance. Hope they bite!
It’s going to be quite a party the night I arrive with author Cathryn Fox we will be going out to dinner with a few of my favorite Erotica authors Sasha White!! So I’ll be good and not beg for an autograph since I will also be volunteering to help out at the Allure Authors signing and will be sure to get one of her books there.
For the Ellora’s Cave jungle theme party I have a fabulous animal print dress to wear and will be going with my dear friend and author Renee Fields. YAY! She celebrating her first print release, but has limited herself to leopard print high heels for the party. But hey it’s the spirit of the thing. Then, the big Fairy Ball I’ve got my wings!! And finally a Vampire Ball. Party, Party, Party!
I’m not sure I will have time to post next week, in the craziness before I go, but I will mention that I am doing a little bondage research this weekend, hee hee! When I return, I’ll have lots of pictures of the convention, not the bondage!!
